Dr. Tate has been in private practice in Aurora since 1998. She was educated in Colorado, having attended Cherry Creek High School, the University of Colorado at Boulder, and University of Colorado School of Medicine. She received her post graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University. It was at Vanderbilt that her interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques began. She then taught medical students and residents for four years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

Dr. Tate offers family centered Obstetric care to healthy, as well as high-risk moms. Her surgical expertise includes management of abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal Papanicolaou smears, endometriosis and pelvic pain. She offers in office tubal sterilization and in office treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding. Her practice includes robotic assisted fertility preserving treatment of uterine fibroids, or if a hysterectomy is indicated, she offers both robotic assisted or vaginal surgery.

Dr. Tate is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical Center of Aurora from 2001-2005.

Dr. Tate respects the life of each individual she treats. She is married and has three children. Her family enjoys skiing, music and soccer.
